I'm not sure the technique you used - whether it be a time lapse or panorama shot - but the effect is palpable. By having the dog's background remain the same in all three depictions, it says something of the nature of doghood, the quickness with which they experience the world. At any moment (and for a dog, any moment is the only moment) something can capture his attention, leading him on a new adventure.
As for the actual visuals, the image is incredibly crisp and clear. The subtle differences between the first two poses contrast nicely with the third and final pose.
Also your dog is adorable.
