Now for improvements:
I find that the top of the image feels a bit cramped, a bit more space above the back of the tiger would help.
The head and shoulders of the tiger could be a stronger focal point by upping the saturation in that part of the image. Conversely you could blur background and the rear of the tiger.
The eyes could be brighter with more sharpness, which would increase their glossy appearance.
Overall a great image that can be used in a number of settings depending on how it is cropped and or edited.
This photo seems to induce a sort of stillness within, like a calm peace emitting from the tiger. The clarity and sharpness of this photo makes it feel like I'm standing right there, right across from the tiger...
As far as improvements go, I really don't see anything that needs fixed or improved. This photo seems perfect already.
If this is an edit, you did a wonderful job. You've managed to correct anything that was already wrong with the photo.
The quality found in this photo is undeniable… Watching the tiger hunched over to drink some water, seeing those mesmerising ripples in the water, and the crisp look of the grass and bushes all adds to a truly atmospheric shot.
If there’s any suggestion I could make, it would be to centre the tiger a bit more. Course, that being said, I could completely understand if you wanted to make his/her face the point of focus, as their eyes bind you to the spot, staring directly into your own like it is studying your every move.
It’s a suggestion perhaps without merit, especially now with that other viewpoint in mind.
In all honesty, I find it real hard to fault this stunning picture, so consider this the newest inductee to my “Honorary Class” deviations list, whatever that means to you. Who would not be impressed by a photo of such sublime quality. Please keep this up!
Oh, fair enough, now with the explanation it's an idea that you made work. Keep up the wonderful photography, and hope you get better.
Haha, this was mentioned in the latest dA site update.
